STEIN AM RHEIN
Dispensable Worthwhile Very recommendable Marvel

It is close from Schaffhausen (30 min. by train). It is a tiny but very tourist village.
The old town is crossed in little time due to the small size, but if you are visiting thiss region, I would highly recommend a brief stop here.
You will run into a series of ancient houses of 3 floors or even more, decorated with very overdone facades, together with pinnacles and windowed balconies. Every house is a work of art and the village is a multicolor complex, suitable for a postcards or for a fairy tale.
Stein am Rhein
Stein am Rhein
It is full of terraces to have a refreshment or a coffee. Ou may have a bath in the Rhine as well (like in Schaffhausen).
The only problem is that such a marvel brings associated crowds of tourists and souvenir shops.
Stein am Rhein
From here we traveled towards the near Konstanz in 40 min., thus completing the Rhine's course.
