First night I like to have booked

I am looking at Altieri hotel in Favaro for the first night which looks very convenient to the airport and to Venice but thinking of 2 nights there before we head on up to Ljubljana to get our car. I would like to spend two nights in the same place since it is easy access to Venice but I would really like to stay on Lido one night. It just seems easier to stay in the same first place 2 nights. The main reason for the trip is Slovenia and flying out REALLY early so Lido is probably not an option on the flip side. Any opinions on this?
