EURODOMINO

Like the Interrail Pass, the EuroDomino pass is available to anyone who can proove that has lived in Europe, in Algeria, in Tunisia or in Morocco for at least six months with the identity card or some residence certificate; however, it is only valid in one country (which you designate when buying the pass), and 30 European countries plus Morocco accept these passes: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czec Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Morocco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Russia, Turkey, United Kingdom. It is not permitted to purchase a pass for travelling within your own country of residence.

You get an EuroDomino pass for a variable number of days from 3 to 8 in the arc of a month. EuroDomino passes are available in 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 or 8 days validities. The days are chosen by the customer and can also not be consecutive, allowing you to do a multi-centre itinerary, stopping in one or more places for a few days before moving on. EuroDomino is ideal if you wish to travel within just one or two countries.

It allows 1st or 2nd class seats, depending on the type of Eurodomino pass acquired. It is permitted to travel without any more cost on some trains habitually with supplement as IC and EC, but you have to pay the supplement to book in advance, to take a high speed or to take a sleep train. Among these suplement trains you can find: German ICE, French TGV, Spanish Talgo, Italian Eurostar, Finnish Pendolino S220, Swedish X2000, Thalys (Paris-Brussels-Amsterdam/Cologne), Eurostar (Paris/Brussels-London), ETR (Milan-Rome-Naples), Cisalpino (Italy-Switzerland). Finally, some train services are not covered by the pass, however special discounted fares are available on most of them: Trenhotel, InterCityNight, Thalys, Artesia , Lusitania , Elipsos, AVE, Euromed, Alaris, Altaria and Talgo. For more information on these trains, visit the special trains' section.

Eurodomino passes are personal and are not transferable. The passholder must be able to provide proof of identity when required by railway staff. The pass can be obtained 60 days in advance. Just before using the pass, the passholder must validate it by inserting the date and month in the relevant box. By validating the box, the passholder has unlimited travel between 0 h. and 24 h. on that day. However if travelling on a train departing after 19 h. which reaches its destination overnight you have to validate the pass for the arrival day, giving you up to 29 hours validity.

You can give the pass back in the same country where it was emitted and before the first day of validity to collect the complete price. After the first day of validity there won´t be any reimbursement. In case of serious disease or incident the whole price will be collected. In case of loss or robbery you won´t get any replacement nor reimbursement.
