Finally you can buy an InterRail if you have resided during 6 months in Algeria, Belarus, Cyprus, Estonia, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Moldova, Russia, Tunisia or Ukraine. The InterRail ticket doesn´t allow to travel through your own country, although you had chosen the zone including it, except for the next case. You get a 50% reduction on your go and return journey between your country of residence and the border of one of the countries included in the selected zone. Sometimes it is better to include another zone in your InterRail card and to pay that extra instead of paying half of a single ticket to cross a country not included in your pass. An example is when crossing France, not included in your ticket. Although you pay only 50% of the ticket it is cheaper to add this zone (E) in your InterRail pass. The period of time must be constituted by consecutive days, and within that period it is possible to travel every day and without limits. |
